It's been a hectic week. I've gotten a lot of work done and the quality of work wasn't all half bad. of course my first midterm was the worst, but i didn't expect it go well anyways. i'm just glad the weekend is approaching because i want to get back to san francisco to see boomer and eat cooked food. cooked food? you mean, good food? no, i mean what i wrote- cooked food. i haven't really eaten much this entire week. tuesday i had canned soup, which i microwaved. it's thursday and since then i've eaten crackers and guacamole. i even splurged on a yogurt parfait for lunch today. the point is, i am hungry for some hot, steaming, quality food. my mom's cooking doesn't seem all too bad right now... i'm excited to be back this particular weekend because it's i'll be dining out for dinner all weekend long (or, friday and saturday long). on friday i'll be meeting with my cousin who's treating me to cheesecake factory for my birthday. i haven't seen jackie in so long that i would've met with her even without the dinner invitation. however, i won't turn down free food. i don't remember what's actually good at the cheesecake factory but dining ontop of macy's alone is always worth it (especially if you're eating outside). (oh, that reminds me, the equinox on top of the hyatt in the financial district closed. there's so much nostalgia with that restaurant. i've been there once as a kid; i remember being mesmerized by the revolving world below me. i tuned out everything everyone said and just stared at the people ice skating below, that is when i revolved back to them). on saturday i'll be eating with my parents for my official birthday dinner. i wouldn't mind just eating at home but, knowing my mom, i'm sure she'll find it a perfect opportunity to get out of the house and eat outside food. mmm, monosodium glutamate.
i've gotta end this sad post and finish up my even sadder paper. goodbye, blogspot, for now.
p.s. i've had garlic breath since wednesday. the garlic clove i put into my guacamole was obviously still really young and therefore potent as hell.
p.s.s. if you've had garlic breath, i do not suggest sucking on a lemon (unless you like sucking on lemons and in that case go right ahead). i did that this morning and the combination of sour and...garlic was disgusting.
